The 54th TV Week Logie Awards started off with a bang this year with an incredible performance by One Direction.
You could barely hear the boys through the screams of the female heavy crowd, but what you did hear was amazing!
Though it was a very long night, the awards were jam packed full of hilarious moments, amazing live musical performances and the odd touching dedication (we are looking at you Adam Hills and Hamish Blake!)
The big winners on the night were of course Hamish Blake, the cast of The Slap, Asher Keddie and Adam Hills.
Adam Hills created one of the cuter moments of the night when he donned his 2-year-old daughter's glasses to accept his Most Popular Presenter award and then again for the Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Award for Spick and Specks.
Hamish Blake gave one of the most entertaining speeches of the night when he picked up his Gold Logie Award- praising his fiance Zoe Foster's great 'attitude' and reminding us that bromance is still alive and well!
Seal delivered an amazing performance of his hit Kiss from a Rose that took us back to the 90's in a flash, and Tony Bennett was all old world charm and class with his perfect rendition of Lady Is A Tramp.
Delta Goodrem was an ethereal beauty both in dress and voice for her new song Standing On Top Of The World and there isn't really much to say for One Direction except... Amazyn!
Some of the best comedic moments came when Rove was heckled by Harry Styles and Shaun Micallef gave Karl Stefanovic a serving he isn't likely to forget soon!
It was great to see Molly Meldrum honoured by close friends Sir Elton John, Dannii Minogue and Michael Gudinski- as well as a small insight into the impact he has had on the music industry in Australia.
We were also overjoyed to see Gina Riley and Jane Turner reprise their roles as Prue and Trude!
All in all a pretty entertaining (if not a little long) awards ceremony, that definitely had the distinctly 'Aussie' flavour to it!
